We had a kind of busy day today. Early this afternoon, we went to watch your sister play her first soccer game of the season, but all you wanted to do was get in the game. You think you're big already, but momma just wants you to stay small.
Then this evening, we went to your great-aunt Penny's house because some of your cousins from Alabama were visiting. Laura, who is your Daddy's first cousin, and her girls, Isabella and Amelia. All of you always have fun when they come to visit. Tonight, you had fun "playing piano" with Naomi and running around the house, both inside and outside!
I'm so happy that you have many sweet cousins to grow up with, even if you don't get to see them all every day.

Day Eighty-Three
This evening, Daddy took Nora to a Daddy-Daughter dance at her school, and it was 50s themed! Here you are jumping in on the photo op.
You and Mommy had some time alone together this evening to snuggle and play and take selfies.
But of course, once Daddy got home, he was your go-to guy. You 2 have so much fun together.

Day Eighty-Two
I had a meeting after school today, so Daddy picked up both you and Nora from daycare and school. After dinner and just before I got to leave my meeting and head home, he took you to Walker Springs Park for some play time. He said you mostly wanted to play on the swings, but he tried to encourage you to run around. I know he was just trying to wear you out in hopes that you might sleep through the night!

Day Eighty-One
Today! Day Eighty-One is today! Caught up- again!
Behold the sweetness that is you, catching my eye and then running at me full-force.
That dimple, though.

Day Eighty
Tuesday, March 21st
Just helping Daddy into the house with a few things and then climbing those stairs like such a big girl! Where did our baby go?

Day Seventy-Nine
Monday, March 19th
After a nice, Spring staycation, it was hard to go back to work and leave you, and I know you felt the same way, but it sure did make coming home that much sweeter.
My goodness, you love that Daddy, and he loves you.

Day Seventy-Eight
Sunday, March 19th
On Mommy's day to wake up early, you girls can get away with just about anything. Pull the bed blankets out to the living/dining room, and pretend sleep together? Have at it.
Those smiles melt my heart every time.

Day Seventy-Seven
Saturday, March 18th
Today was probably the prettiest day of Spring Break, so we decided to go to Lakeshore Park and Playground. It's probably the nicest one we have in Knoxville, and Nora loves it, but you?
You are not so easily amused.
You did seem to enjoy the Chick-fil-a play place a bit more, though. Maybe because there was food.

Day Seventy-Six
Friday, March 17th
Today, your sister went with you to Ms. Tracy's. It's Spring Break, and mommy needed a break. Someday, you'll understand. Anyway, it was also St. Patrick's Day, so I dressed my two wee Irish lasses in green and tried to get some cute pictures.
But YOU had other ideas, such as running from the camera and refusing to smile.

Day Seventy-Five
Thursday, March 16th
Yeehaw! Giddyup!
You love to yell those things whenever you play cowgirl. You're entirely too adorable, and you make me smile every day.

Day Seventy-Four
Wednesday, March 15th
Your sister is going to get frustrated with you if you keep checking the mail before she has a chance.
It's her favorite job. Her other job is to let the dogs out into the back yard when we get home from being out. She tells me often that she doesn't want THAT job-- only the mail job.
I wonder what kind of jobs you'll like to do as you get bigger?

Day Seventy-Three
Tuesday, March 14th
Here you are all ready for bed, snuggled into your Christmas PJs (ha!), sitting in your chair, waiting to be snuggled to sleep (because you are spoiled), "reading" quietly to yourself.

Monday, March 13th
Could you BE any less excited about going to check the mail?
That's your sister's job, anyway.

Day Seventy-One
Sunday, March 12th
This is one of your favorite books right now. It's one of those books where you're supposed to find and point to different things in the picture. When you can't find something, you say quizzically, "Hmmmm...." while you scan the page with your eyes, BUT when you see what you're looking for, you point at it and enthusiastically exclaim, "It raht hur!" (It's right here)
Yeah, you're pretty much the cutest.

Day Sixty-Nine
Friday, March 10th
Well, my wild-one. You gave us quite the scare. While just a few feet away from us, you managed to topple over a tall corner shelf that was home to some beloved family ornaments. We heard the bang and the smashing and a second later, you sobbing. Daddy scooped you up out of the middle of the mess while I sat on the bench in the dining room and cried over the lost heirlooms. (I did make sure you were ok first, I promise.) Thankfully, Daddy was able to crazy-glue Nana's Hummels back together in a reasonable fashion, but Jennie's Blue Boy and Pink Lady ornaments were smashed to smithereens.
Later, you and Daddy went to Lowe's where he took this picture of the big goose egg on your head.
My poor baby. I'm so thankful you are ok. It could have been much worse, and while I'm sad about the lost treasures, I'm relieved that you weren't seriously hurt.
Now, could you please calm down just a little bit, Tornado Tilly?

Day Sixty-Eight
Thursday, March 9th
Another afternoon in the yard. You were hoarding soccer balls.
Maybe you just want to help Sissy get ready for soccer season.

Day Sixty-Seven
Wednesday, March 8th
March 8th is always kind of a sad day for me, which you will grow to understand. However, even on my saddest day, you and your beautiful baby blues can make me smile.
Swoon.........
And yes, you definitely need a little hair trim!

Day Sixty-Six
Tuesday, March 7th
I am sensing a pattern...
While Mommy does love the snuggles, I don't love the middle of the night wake ups, and Daddy (my hero) doesn't love the early "up for the day" wake ups.
So, as beautiful as you are when you take your car naps on the way to Ms. Tracy's house, could you just start sleeping all night, every night, please and thank you?

Day Sixty-Five
Monday, March 6th
This afternoon, you and Daddy had fun playing in the yard when you got home. Lately, if Daddy does NOT take you outside to play as soon as you get home, you get upset and grumpy and loud about it. Thankfully, on this day, it wasn't an issue because Daddy was happy to make it happen.

This was also one of those evenings when I was super-proud of the dinner I put in front of you. You really liked the turkey meatloaf and pretty much cleaned your plate. Mommy win!
