Days Thirty-Eight and Thirty-Nine

So, mommy and daddy aren't perfect. Neither of us got any pictures of you yesterday. I was home with you and your sister all day because Knox County Schools is out for illness. Yep, so many people are so sick, that they have closed school for 4 days so everyone can get healthy and so that the schools can be sanitized. So far, knock on wood, our family hasn't gotten sick. Well, except for your runny nose, but that's nothing compared to what's apparently going around.

Tonight, when I was at the gym, your Daddy sent me this adorable picture of you watching something on the iPad.

Those sweet cheeks! Those adorable toes! Everything about you melts my heart.

Day Thirty-Seven

You love, love, love bath time. So many nights if we mention bed without having given you a bath, you will loudly protest.

Tonight, you didn't need to protest.

You still give the world's best stink-eye

Day Thirty-Six

Super Bowl Sunday post-nap pickle snacks for everyone!

Cutely posing for Daddy and the camera. Cheeeese!

You played with your dogs a lot today, but I couldn't quite get a picture of all 3 of you together.

Day Thirty-Five

This afternoon, we went to watch my school's boys' basketball team play in the middle school tournament.  It was your first game, and you seemed to have fun. You did a little bit of dancing and cheering, a lot of popcorn-eating, but mostly you just crawled and wiggled around in the stands.

I love the way you love each other. <3

Vine walked away with the win. 43-33 over Karns. Go Golden Bears!

The game ended as it was getting close to dinner, so Daddy suggested we go to a restaurant. We ended up at one of our favorites, Puleos.

You weren't very impressed by your chicken and mashed potatoes.

But you were really into Daddy's seafood ravioli!

Day Thirty-Four

Today started off rough for you. As we were getting ready in the morning, I heard a thud and some crying. You fell of the couch. You were fine and just needed a little TLC, but then later, Ms. Tracy sent me this picture of you.

"Till ran into the doll house. I'm gonna ice it and keep watch on it." Ms. Tracy

Then, after we all got home, you and Nora were playing on Daddy's and my bed, and you fell down again!! This is part of why why we affectionately refer to you as Tornado Tilly.

Before I got home and you fell off the bed, you and Nora had a few hours with just Daddy while I was at a school basketball game. As I was on my way home, those adorable pictures showed up on my phone.

Eating and rocking and drawing, oh my!

Day Thirty-Three

This afternoon, Daddy and I took you to a doctor's appointment. It was a follow up on your ears because you've recently had 2 ear infections back-to-back. Or maybe it was just one ear infection that didn't clear up even with the first round of antibiotics. I was nervous they were still going to be infected and that they would be recommending tubes, but thankfully, we got the "all clear"! The doctor even checked your ears to make sure that everything in there is moving around properly and that your hearing was unaffected by the infection. Again, everything looked perfect. This momma was relieved!

One thing I like about KPA is that the wait time is minimal. Rarely do we have to wait longer than 5 minutes to see the doctor.  Today, I think we might have waited more like 10 or 15, which is no big deal in the grand scheme of things, but you were wiggly.

Here you are playing while we waited to see Dr. Brice-- roaming, climbing, snuggling.

Days Thirty-One and Thirty-Two

The past 2 days, you and Daddy got home before Nora and I did, so you took advantage of the clear early-evening, and spent some time outside.

Yesterday, you went for a walk to the end of the cul-de-sac.

Looking not-so-happy about the walk
You've discovered *something*
Cheering up- this is fun!
Hanging on to your Daddy's hand. He's your favorite guy.

Today, you stayed closer to home, spending time in both the front and back yard, where big sister happily joined you when we got home  just a few minutes later.

Daddy let you hold the mail
Checking out the mail
Happy about the mail
Done with the mail- time to play!
