Day 4- Routines

Sometimes I'm ready to go back to work after a break, and sometimes I'm not. Today, I wasn't quite ready. Maybe because it's finally feeling like winter and I just wanted to hole up inside our house. Maybe it's because I've thoroughly enjoyed the past 2 weeks snuggling my babies. Either way, it was a long day at work, and I was out the door at 3:45 on the nose so I could head to Ms. Tracy's to pick up my Tilly.

Ms. Tracy is Tilly's daycare provider. That title sounds so formal for someone like Tracy who is practically family. She owns and operates a small in-home day care where Nora spent 3.5 years learning and growing before she moved on to pre-school. Tilly has now been there since she was just a wee 6 weeks old. 

Here she is almost a whole year ago meeting Tilly for the first time as we were on our way home from the hospital. We were making a pit-stop to pick up big sister on her last day at Ms. Tracy's house before starting pre-school. It was an emotional day!

And here is our Ms. Tracy getting Tilly ready to go home this afternoon.

All buckled into her cozy car seat, ready for the ride home.

Now that we're back into our routine, hopefully tomorrow will be a little bit easier.
